This stool is made from Elm and Italian walnut. The seat is hand shaped and left textured, with gouge work around the edge. The Italian Walnut legs are shaped with a drawknife and joined using traditional mortise and tenon joints. The design draws on folk stools and chairs from across the British Isles and is finished by hand with a hard wax oil.
