Jonny trained at the Rowden Atelier and works within the tradition of British vernacular furniture, informed by Arts and Crafts principles and contemporary studio practice. Each piece is shaped with close attention to proportion, surface, and use, allowing the character of the material to remain present.

Furniture from Collantine Studios is made for daily use and long-term ownership, intended to settle into a home and grow richer with time.

Collantine Studios is a small furniture workshop based in North Yorkshire, founded by Jonny Collantine.

The studio produces a limited number of stools, benches and chairs each year, made from English hardwoods and finished by hand. Work is released in small batches or made to commission.
