This stool is made from English walnut with an elm seat. The seat is hand shaped with a smooth finish, with Drawknife work around the edge. The walnut legs are shaped with a drawknife and joined using traditional mortise and tenon joints. The design draws on folk stools and chairs from across the British Isles and is finished by hand with a hard wax oil.
