This box is made from pear and oak, with a bog oak string line set into the surface. The form is kept simple, with the details doing the work. Inside, it is lined with cedar of Lebanon, chosen for its smell and for how well it protects what’s kept inside. The box is made and finished by hand, with the aim of letting the materials speak for themselves.
