This bench is made from burr elm with elm legs and a beech stretcher. The seat is hand tooled, with gouge work around the edge. The legs and stretcher are hand textured and joined using traditional mortise and tenon joints. Approximate size 450mm (height) x 1200mm (length) x 300mm (depth). The design draws on folk stools and chairs from across the British Isles and is finished by hand with a hard wax oil.
